Their laced hands settled on Bones's stomach afterwards, as Jim was sure they were both just as unwilling to let go just yet. He chuckled at the question, nose brushing against Bones's shoulder, cheek pressed warmly against it.
"Are you kidding? It's better, obviously. So much better." He hadn't been having a bad day by any means, but it had been pretty uneventful up until the point he'd stepped into Bones's office. And while watching him fall apart hadn't been his preferred form of excitement, he definitely loved what they managed to get from it.
Stretching his neck as much as he could, he leaned in and planted a kiss to the corner of Bones's lips, lingering and then smiling as he pulled away again. "You make me happy." And he didn't even need to do anything else. Just lying here, holding hands, talking to each other, smiling and stealing soft kiss, that already was more than Jim could've ever hoped for.
